Activities Coordinator

Reports to: The Registered Manager

Working hours: 5 days over a 7-day period, as agreed with the manager.

Location:

The service’s premises, but you may be required to work from other locations at the discretion of the company and with appropriate notice.

  • To develop and plan programmes, outings and events, staffing the events and overseeing the implementation of activities. Ensure the programme reflects the wishes and preferences of the current population of the organisation
  • To support and enable service users to access social networks and maintain personal interests in accordance with best practice, agreed standards, legislation and within the financial budget
  • To maintain skills at a current level and to undertake such training and development as required, from time-to-time, to maintain and progress knowledge
  • To protect self, staff, residents, and visitors against infection risks.
  • To comply with current infection control policies and procedures and to report any problems regarding this to the Registered Manager. • To attend infection control training and updates as required by Divine Rock Care Limited

Unit Manager – Dementia and Nursing

Reports to: The Registered Manager

Working hours: 5 days over a 7-day period, as agreed with the manager.

Location:

Charnwood Care Home, Nottingham, but you may be required to work from other locations at the discretion of the company and with appropriate notice.

  • Lead and manage Charnwood’s dedicated dementia unit, ensuring safe, compassionate, person-centred care for residents living with dementia.
  • Provide RMN clinical leadership, operational oversight, and continuous quality improvement aligned to CQC standards, NICE guidance and best practice.
  • To positively support the Registered Manager in providing leadership to the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance functions of the service
  • To deputise for the function of the Registered Manager during their absence, while, at all times, supporting the decisions made by the Registered Manager
  • To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice.
  • To manage the service in accordance with standards agreed with the Registered Manager, the Registered Provider, legislative requirements, relevant regulations and in line with accepted best practice, and within the financial plans agreed from time-to-time with the Registered Provider
  • To protect self, staff, residents, and visitors against infection risks.
  • To comply with current infection control policies and procedures and to report any problems regarding this to the Registered Manager.

Domestic Assistant

Reports to: Domestic Coordinator

Working hours: 36 hours a week

Location:

Charnwood Care Home, Nottingham, but you may be required to work from other locations at the discretion of the company and with appropriate notice.

  • To provide cleaning services within the organisation in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations and in line with accepted best practices
  • To protect self, staff, residents, and visitors against infection risks.
  • To comply with current infection control policies and procedures and to report any problems regarding this to the Registered Manager.
